In 2013, Prologis decided to set the third Friday of May aside each year for employees around the globe to volunteer for a good cause. IMPACT Day – from Integrity, Mentorship, Passion, Accountability, Courage and Teamwork - embodies the values that drive colleagues as they spend the day helping others.
At IMPACT Day 2018, dreams were fulfilled when Prologis employees handed out bikes and helmets to children under the “Wish for Wheels” program in Denver, repainted the Seibi Home orphanage in Tokyo and taught bike safety to children in Shanghai. Across the world, employees dedicated the day to similar initiatives in their communities.
In 2019, employees at Prologis France will be renewing their support to Apprentis d’Auteuil, a charitable foundation that supports public authorities to provide housing for 14,000 children and young people experiencing social, family-related or educational difficulties. This year, 57 employees will spend the day renovating one of the foundation’s schools, Saint-Gabriel from Bagneux, which counts 200 students from pre through to high school. François Rispe, regional head for Prologis Southern Europe, is an active member of the Foundation and recently became one of its ambassadors.
Join us on social media on Friday May 17 for live coverage of all the action as Prologis employees make a lasting impact.
