On May 17, 2019 Prologis France once again took part in IMPACT Day, a day of service launched in 2013 for Prologis employees around the globe. In a festive, charitable spirit, employees spent the day with the Apprentis d’Auteil Foundation, painting and renovating the Saint Gabriel School.
Employees turned their hands to all sorts of activities both outside, tidying, repairing and gardening and inside, reorganizing the school library and giving a fresh lick of paint to classrooms and shared spaces. Cromology, which designs, manufactures, distributes and sells its innovative products to professional and non-professional customers, was kind enough to donate Tollens paint for the volunteers to use. Cromology is also a longstanding customer, occupying logistics space at Prologis Park Vemars.
Thanks to the donation from Cromology, part of the Prologis materials budget could be freed up to purchase new furniture, decorate reading areas and buy games for after-school activities. We therefore offer our heartfelt thanks to Bernard Chapuis, deputy general director, Marion Bretel, human resources director, Marc Glikson, logistics and transport director, Christèle Lion, communications director, Juliette Trebucq, head of communications and Valentine Vanoost, communications officer who were able to source and deliver the paint required in just three days. Inspired and moved by the Prologis initiative, they were keen to contribute to this year’s IMPACT Day, and to future actions organized by Prologis to support the Foundation.
Equipped with the right materials, Prologis France employees were able to give their all for the entire day, to the delight of the children coming back to a smarter, more colorful school.
The Apprentis d’Auteuil is a charitable foundation that provides housing to some 14,000 children and young people experiencing social, family-related or educational difficulties. François Rispe, regional head for Prologis Southern Europe, was recently appointed president of the Ambassador’s Club.
